Data includes up to March 2012. Not Seasonally Adjusted figures.
Some Cities saw an increase in the Case Shiller Index, Minneapolis / St Paul saw a small decline of 1 point. (110.22 in February 2012 to 109.21 in March 2012.) The Composite 20 saw only a .04 drop.
Since the data on the Case Shiller index has a lag time, I expect we will begin to see an increase in the Minneapolis Index in the coming months.
Update: 05/29/2012 8:45pm – clarification of the figures. According to Case Shiller’s press release there is a +3.3% home price increase for a 1 year change based on their revised figures. Read Full Case Shiller press release.
March 2011 Minneapolis Index = 110.98 March 2012 Minneapolis Index = 114.74
