I was reading Captain Capitalism’s Blog this morning and caught this interesting video I thought I would share.
Peter Schiff is one of the only economists who predicted the housing market collapse and still seems to the lone voice. I can understand why no one wants to listen to what he has to say because what he has to say is pretty frightening. In this video he discusses many aspects of the economy, but touches on a few components of the housing market as well.
What are your thoughts on what he has to say here? Is he right on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac? Dodd Frank? Student Loans? The Fed keeping interest rates artificially low? What are your thoughts?
I can’t predict the future, but Peter Schiff raises some interesting points.
